The silver metallic pillar candles that are being recalled voluntarily due to a potential fire hazard, by the General Wax & Candle Company of North Hollywood, California and the U.S.Consumer Product Safety Commission.

There are approximately 12,000 silver metallic pillar candles that are being recalled that were sold in two sizes, a 2.8 inch x 4 inches and 2.8 inches x six inches. The UPC code can be found printed on the bottom of the candle’s plastic wrapping and is UCP code 86718 56082 or 86718 56092.

The candles were sold exclusively at Bed Bath and Beyond stores nationwide between October 2010 and November 2010. The two sizes of silver metallic pillar candles sold for $8.00 and $10.00.
