Ducati Motorcycle Recall Issued Due to Fuel Leak Risk

There is a risk of fire from the leaking fuel, according to the NHTSA and Ducati dealers will replace the fuel pump O-ring with a new part to correct the possible fuel leak problem.

January 31, 2011- According to reports Ducati is recalling 3,911 motorcycles due to a fuel leak risk.
According to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration the motorcycle maker Ducati has issued a recall for 3,911 motorcycles.

The motorcycles included in the recall are susceptible to fuel leaking out of the gas tank due to a bad seal.
There is a risk of fire from the leaking fuel, according to the NHTSA and Ducati dealers will replace the fuel pump O-ring with a new part to correct the possible fuel leak problem.

The motorcycles that are being recalled in the Ducati Recall include:
2006 Multistrada 620
2003-2008 Multistrada 1000
2007-2009 Multistrada 1100
